How to avoid losing your scholarship?
Certain obligations must be respected to avoid the loss of the Crous scholarship in the event of repeating a year or for another reason, namely:
- You devote yourself to your studies full-time throughout the academic year;
- Attend exams and competitions organized as part of your training;
- Be diligent, ensuring you are present for classes, mandatory internships and practical work.
In the event of absence, you must be able to provide justification to the education department of your higher education establishment. The latter will study your file before contacting the Crous. Moreover, it carries out two attendance checks per year, particularly every semester.
The scholarship is also maintained in the event of personal difficulties, knowing that the Crous is the sole decision-maker. This could be the death of a close relative, for example. Just as for absences for medical reasons, it is necessary to provide proof that proves the situation invoked in order to receive the grant based on social criteria.
Failure to fulfill these duties results in suspension of scholarship payment. The Crous also has the right to force you to repay part or all of the sums it has allocated to you as part of this financial assistance.
