The European Commission recently authorized the deployment of 5G on board aircraft. The deadline for Member States to make 5G bands available to companies is June 30, 2023. A beneficial decision for travelers
5G has been adopted and is currently being implemented across Europe. Each Member State is hard at work installing the network on its territory. In France, for example, the installation will end in 2030. For their part, airlines will also be able to provide this technology to their passengers. At least this is what should be understood from the recent decision taken by the European Commission.
According to the information, EU member states will have to deploy everything necessary to companies by the end of June 2023. Note that the details relating to the application of this decision have not yet been revealed. We will therefore have to wait a little longer to learn more about this.
