What should a resignation letter for an apprentice contain?
Before getting to the heart of the matter, it should be noted that the apprenticeship contract can be compared to a employment contract. However, the rules have changed regarding apprenticeship contracts signed after January 1, 2019. The document is then sent to the Direccte (Regional Directorate for Business, Competition, Consumption, Labor and Employment). It is also possible to send the notification to the equivalent service at the place of execution of the apprenticeship contract.
It is important to note that the date of sending the termination notification letter will be taken into account in the event that the termination takes place during the probationary period, i.e. 45 days. The said trial period only concerns the days of work in the company, and not the start date of the training.
